Corey Badenhorst – SAPOR Rentals Director

Corey started his finance career with Mercantile Bank of Lisbon (now known as Mercantile Bank) as a student banker. Nine months into the program he applied for a permanent position in the Rental Asset Finance division, where he started his career in this industry. Two years later Corey moved to Sasfin Bank to expand his experience in Rental Asset Finance, receiving a number of performance awards during his four-year tenure.

In 2005 Corey partnered with Raul Martins, Americo de Silva (SAPOR Group founders), and Ronell du Preez (a respected work colleague from his Mercantile and Sasfin days) to start SAPOR Rentals. As the Sales and Marketing Director, Corey  assumes the lead for new business development.

SAPOR Rentals started by providing financial solutions focusing and specializing in the leasing of asset based equipment. Under Corey’s leadership they have expanded to financing other business needs such as medical equipment, prepaid metering, solar solutions, and medical equipment.

Outside of work, Corey is an active father, avid golfer, and runner.
